“Bomb Squad turned our usual after-work into a memorable experience. Our teams are still talking about it.”
Thomas B. · Office Manager
An after-work in Paris that’s anything but the usual bar.
One hour of action games, a drink at the bar, and colleagues who’ll still be talking about it on Monday morning.
Why have your after-work at Bomb Squad Paris?
A successful after-work comes down to three things: an easy-to-reach venue, a reason to connect beyond the usual office conversations, and a drink to round things off. Here, you get all three in one place, in a two-hour format that fits perfectly at the end of the working day.
An activity, not just a drink
For the first fifteen minutes at the bar, everyone talks about work. After an hour of playing together, nobody does. That’s the difference between Bomb Squad and a typical after-work at the bar.
The bar is on-site
A themed bar with cocktails and beers, plus an 80 m² reception area where you can continue the evening without changing venues.
An outing budget, not a seminar budget
€25–30 per person for one hour of gameplay — a price that fits easily within an after-work or team outing budget.
Accessible to the whole team
You don’t need to be athletic or an experienced gamer. The challenges combine movement, memory and logic, giving everyone a chance to contribute.
Two hours, not an entire evening
The format fits neatly between leaving the office and wrapping up drinks, without asking anyone to give up their entire evening.
Right in central Paris
Boulevard de Sébastopol, just a short walk from Réaumur-Sébastopol and Étienne Marcel. An easy meeting point for teams coming from different locations.
One hour to defuse the bomb.
Your colleagues team up in groups of 2 to 6 players and make their way through a series of rooms. Four challenges testing communication, logic, agility and endurance each earn you valuable time, before the final challenge: defusing the bomb with the time you’ve accumulated. Everyone knows who struggled with their challenge and who saved the team — so the post-game debrief at the bar practically writes itself.
Choose between two missions. The Paint Mission ends with a fluorescent paint bomb, while the Foam Mission finishes with the room disappearing under a sea of foam. Wear something you don’t mind getting a little messy.
An after-work in two hours.
Teams start every ten minutes. While one team is playing, the others can enjoy the bar, avoiding the downtime that can take the energy out of most group outings. Within two hours, everyone has played and had a drink.
The right format for your group size.
Pricing depends on the size of your group and what you choose to add at the bar. The basic format stays the same: one hour of gameplay per team within a two-hour time slot.
| Group size | Format | Estimated budget / person |
|---|---|---|
| 10–20 people | 2-hour time slot, shared space | €25–30, excluding drinks |
| 20–30 people | 2-hour time slot, private hire recommended | €25–30, excluding drinks |
| 30–50 people | Two consecutive time slots, full private hire | On request |
Packages including a cocktail reception or sharing platters are priced on a case-by-case basis.
Get the team out of the office.
An after-work doesn’t need a big reason, but there’s often one behind it. The format adapts to the occasion without changing how the experience works.
Team after-work
A Thursday evening out with no theme and no speeches — just a chance to spend time together outside the office.
Farewell party
A way to mark someone’s departure with something more memorable than a drink in a meeting room.
Retirement party
One last team to put together, one last score to beat, and a cocktail to celebrate what comes next.
End of a project or assignment
The moment when a team needs to close one chapter together before moving on to the next.
Welcoming new colleagues
Nothing introduces people to a team faster than spending an hour good-naturedly arguing over how to solve a challenge.
After-work with friends
The format works just as well outside the workplace, for a group of friends looking for an original weekday activity.
The themed bar and reception area.
The activity lasts one hour, and the rest of the experience takes place at the bar. Our 80 m² reception area welcomes your group before, during and after the game, with drinks, snacks and screens where you can follow the other teams’ scores.
Our team can arrange food and drinks to suit your preferences and budget, from a simple round of drinks to a cocktail reception. Private hire of the space is also available for groups who prefer to have the venue to themselves.

What activity should you choose for an after-work evening in Paris?
Short formats that get everyone involved tend to work better at the end of the day than a seated evening. Action games, bowling and shooting activities all offer this kind of experience when a bar alone can quickly feel limited. Bomb Squad Paris offers one hour of team gameplay followed by a drink at the bar, within a two-hour time slot, for €25–30 per person.
Where can you have an after-work in Paris that’s different from the usual bar?
The key is being able to combine the activity and drinks in the same place; otherwise, half the group can get lost between the two. Bomb Squad Paris brings both together at 94 Boulevard de Sébastopol in the 3rd arrondissement, with 200 m² of space, including an 80 m² reception area and a themed bar.
What exactly is an after-work?
An after-work is time spent with colleagues just after work, usually between 6 pm and 9 pm, outside the office environment. It is shorter than a corporate evening and requires less budget and organisation, making it a popular format for team outings.
How much does an after-work cost per person?
Expect to pay €25–30 per person for one hour of gameplay at Bomb Squad Paris, excluding drinks at the bar. Packages with cocktails or sharing platters are available on request, with a response within 24 hours and invoicing available to the company or works council (CSE).
How many people can take part?
The after-work format works well for groups of 10 to 30 people. The venue can accommodate up to 50 people on-site, with up to 30 players per two-hour time slot, divided into teams of 2 to 6 players starting every ten minutes.
How much time should we allow?
Two hours is enough: one hour of gameplay per team, with the remaining time spent at the bar thanks to the rotating team format. Teams on a tight schedule can leave after two hours, while others can continue the evening in the neighbourhood.
Do you need to be athletic to participate?
No. The challenges involve moving around, aiming and reacting quickly, but these alternate with memory and logic challenges. Each team can divide the roles however they like, allowing people with different abilities to play together.
Where can you hold a farewell party with colleagues in Paris?
A farewell party can be more memorable outside the meeting room, giving the team something to do together rather than simply standing around a buffet. Bomb Squad Paris can host groups of 10 to 30 people for an hour of gameplay followed by drinks at the bar, right in central Paris, with private hire also available.
Can companies privately hire the venue?
Yes. Partial or full private hire of the 200 m² venue is available, including both the activity and reception area. Private hire is recommended for groups of around 30 participants or more.
